A card lock project is not just fitting a lock to a door: choosing the right case for the door type, designing the card hierarchy and making sure staff use the system correctly all have to be handled together. At ETS Elektronik we run that entire process from a single source.

How The Process Works

• Survey and door analysis: Door thickness, frame type (timber, aluminium, PVC, steel) and existing case dimensions are established on site.
• Model and case selection: The lock model and slim/thick case alternative are chosen to suit the room concept and door structure.
• Installation: Locks and cases are fitted to the doors; on existing doors a retrofit installation avoids replacing the door.
• Software setup: The card encoding station is installed at reception and the room plan and card authority levels are entered.
• Commissioning and testing: Every room is tested individually and master and housekeeping cards are verified.
• Staff training: Reception and technical teams are trained on check-in/check-out, cancelling lost cards and reporting.
